Offered as part of the adult education classes by the Academy for Faith and Life at the Fourth Presbyterian Church at 11:00 am for four consecutive Sundays beginning on September 10th.
Suzanne gave a four-part lecture series that takes a look at 14 different religious and spiritual traditions from the perspective of recognizing both the similarities that exist among them and the uniqueness each offers. The first lecture covered the Hopewell, Mayan, Egyptian, and Mesopotamian traditions. The second lecture covered the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The section also covered Zoroastrianism. The third lecture focused on dharmic or eastern traditions. This included Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The final lecture covered the modern religions of the Baha’ism, and Unitarianism.
